Introduction

Sar Senapati Santaji Ghoprade Sugar Factory Ltd., (SSSGSF) is registered in the state of Maharashtra under companies Act 1956. On 19th February, 2011 vide registration No. U15421PN2011PN201138600. Now, SSSGSF proposes to set up an integrated eco-friendly 22.5 MW capacity co-gen power project for decentralized generation of exportable surplus power, mainly from renewable sources of fuel.

Sar Senapati Santaji Ghorpade Sugar Factory Ltd. (SSSGSF) started in the mid-Nineties with a 3500 TCD unit in Village Belewadi Kalamma, Taluka Kagal, District Kolhapur, Maharashtra. From 2011 to 2014, the company expanded, increasing its cane crushing capacity to 6000 TCD. Now a leading sugar producer, SSSGSF has a 22.5 MW co-generation capacity and a 95 KLPD ethanol plant, along with raw sugar processing facilities. These advanced facilities set industry standards in operational excellence and technology. SSSGSF produces high-quality sugar, widely accepted across India, and drives sustainable growth, efficiency, and policy changes in the sugar and renewable energy sectors.
